Charcuterie is intended to highlight the virtuosic
and underappreciated abilities of the contrabass clarinet.
Using 10 short movements, Charcuterie gives a sampling
of the soloistic, body-shakingly agressive, warmingly
gentle, and comical characteristics of the contrabassclarinet.
Each movement is intended to be a musical tasting, which
when combined create new flavors.
